We are a media organization founded in 2002 in Lebanon. The contributors and founders are a group of writers, researchers, poets and other academics who have escaped the wrath of the former regime of dictatorship. As a group we exercised our media coverage and writings outside of Iraq, under no duress and in complete independence of any group, or political party bias, and concentrated our humanitarian effort to cover the whole of Iraq and life within it. After a resounding success achieved by the publication, "Asrar Alsharq" within Iraq, large numbers of the enlightened academics, writers, corresponders, and readers who seek the truth welcomed it with encouraging support. As such, an independent committee was borne, bankrolled by the voluntary efforts of the all contributors, resisting the lure of any party memberships. The group endured untold hardship and toiled stoically and individually, turning down the prestige of the large press.  All our meetings focused around staunch commitment to our independence from any bias and swore allegiance to that effect. As such, our ongoing efforts were rewarded with the group being recognized as an independent news agency, sought after by the world's news agencies and satellite channels alike as a reliable source of information. We are now is the Iraqi "Asrar Alsharq" Agency for independent news. In addition, the Iraqi people's desire for the absolute truth contributed to our success, where the publication's voice became that to which the Iraqi resident turns to for the simple truth, and given it's due attention by the member of government who wishes to know of the reality that surrounds him. To this day, we are steadfastly, continuing the work that brought to you this publication, and agency, without any conflicting interests to declare, nor any association with any political party or creed.
